Our Sabbath School Mission


We invite children of all ages to be a part of the growing, thriving ministry of our church. With classes for newborns, toddlers, preschoolers and elementary-aged students every Saturday morning, we welcome your entire family to take part in learning and growing towards Christ as a part of our faith-community. 


We love teaching kids in creative and memorable ways who God is and how His word applies to their lives. We want kids to know that the Bible is full of interesting stories that matter in their lives today, that fun is allowed at church, and that there are adults in the church who truly want to love and lead them closer to Jesus. In other words, we want them to know that where God is, life is a lot more fun! The Jesus centered themes are based on grace, worship, community and service.

Check-in & Pick-up Procedures

For safety, we require all families to check in to Sabbath School using one of the computers in the Children's Ministry Center lobby. When you do this, you'll receive two printed labels: one for your child to wear and one for you. You must have your label with you in order to pick your child up at the end of Sabbath School. Other designated adults or siblings who are in sixth grade or above may also pick up a child using the matching label.

PRIMARY PRAISE AND WORSHIP


Primary Praise and Worship is a new dynamic program for our first through fourth graders. Part Sabbath School- part Children’s Church - each week the children gather together in our “Praise and Worship Town” to praise the Lord and learn more about Jesus! 

 

The program begins with Vacation Bible School style music led by teen leaders.  This is followed by a monthly theme segment wrapped around Worship, Service, Community and Grace. Within these themes is a weekly rotation of:

  • Science with Ms. Sheri is a fun and engaging way to connect the children with everyday science lessons and the beautiful world the Lord has given them.
  • Game time with Ms. Corey provides a fun and engaging time for them to connect and play while learning about the monthly program theme.
  • With Mission Spotlight, a new church/community member will share how they have served our local community or in the world mission field helping the children to understand how they too can serve.
  • Object Lessons with Ms. Misty will deepen their connection with Jesus using the monthly theme.
